“During a windstorm, a large pine blew over in my yard, but was held in place by adjacent trees.  The tree was still in danger of coming down in the high winds and bringing other trees with it - if it did, it would take out the front of my house and all the utilities.  I called the fire dept. and they told me it was my problem to deal with.  I had Brad Durfee's number from Sprigs & Twigs on a past recommendation from a friend.  I called Brad and reached him in the office.  He came out to the house immediately, and very shortly thereafter was out with a crew removing the tree - on a holiday!  They did an excellent job in what I'm sure was a potentially dangerous situation, with the tree in a precarious position and 30-40 mph winds blowing around them.  A plus for me was they were working around my satellite dish in addition to the utilities and didn't damage a thing.  I had never done business with Sprigs & Twigs before, but they treated me like I was a long time client.  I would not hesitate to recommend Brad and his crew for any tree removal needs."

“This year, circumstances brought two tree service companies to our house.  The first was a well-known local who gave us an estimate and completed only about 2/3s of the job but insisted on being paid the total amount then and there.  He never returned.  Sprigs and Twigs came in to do some landscaping and very nicely finished his work in addition to theirs.  They did their best to repair the unsightly cutting that had been done and took great pains to prune additional trees in a way that enhanced the natural beauty of the trees.  They looked at the trees from different perspectives and artfully opened up our view while increasing the light and health of the trees and the plants below them.  In addition to being well trained and good at their craft, they are extremely nice, polite people who take great pride in their work and their state of the art equipment.  They truly deserve the title of 'arborists'.”
