Tree
Fertilization

Fertilizing trees provides them with the building blocks needed to build food reserves for growth. Vigorous trees are better able to withstand the stresses of life; especially if growing in difficult environments. Plants make their own food but sometimes a little help is in order.  Soil nutrients and quality are negatively impacted by just about every aspect of lawn care.  Trauma and poor soil conditions can also prevent the absorption of nutrients even if they are present.  These destructive processes can be arrested, sometimes reversed, through “deep-root feeding” and the addition of beneficial fungi.  We use a liquid based fertilizer derived from fish and other natural products, beneficial fungi (Microrhize), and pump it within the root zone via a steel “feeding needle”.  Increasing soil aeration, providing nutrients, and adding beneficial fungi helps create a sustainable environment for root growth that lasts long after the applications.
